Delve into the history of Tolosa and its surroundings with our special guided tours. Explore the streets of the Old Town, discover the spectacular Church of Santa María and climb to its vaulted ceilings, or experience and savor the unique offerings of the Tolosa market.

Guided tour of Tolosa's Old Town
On this approximately one-hour guided tour, you’ll discover Tolosa’s history, the importance of its location, and other stories firsthand.

Church of Santa María and its vaults
This visit allows you to access the second largest church in Gipuzkoa, a grand nave formed by colossal columns. But without a doubt, the main attraction is the opportunity to climb to the vaults. Be prepared to climb the stairs, though.

Chocolate Museum
A paradise for those with a sweet tooth.
If you love chocolate, you can’t miss Rafa Gorrotxategi’s Chocolate Museum. There you can take a guided tour or participate in workshops to learn all about the history and production process of chocolate. It’s an ideal outing for the whole family, and you can also visit on your own.
April 17, 18, 19, and 20. Guided tour or workshop at 11:00 AM and self-guided visits.

Fagus, Hernio Gazume Interpretation Center
The renovated space opened its doors on February 27. You can now book online and visit the Interpretation Center at your own pace.
There you’ll learn about the different animals, ecosystems, and traditions that inhabit the Hernio Gazume protected area.

This museum, located beneath the Larraul Town Hall, tells the story of rural development. It’s essentially an ethnographic museum.
Like the one in Alkiza, you can book and enjoy it online, visiting at your own pace.

The Urmara Museum is now open!
In Alkiza, Hernio is an open-air museum located on the slopes of Urmara, opening every spring.
A museum that, with prior booking, allows you to enjoy this beautiful space. The setting for Koldobika Jauregi’s work is a natural environment.

Enjoy Traditional Flavors: The Last Chance of the Cider Season
Cider lovers will have one last chance this Easter to enjoy the txotx season. In addition to a memorable cider tasting straight from the traditional kupela (cider barrel), the cider houses will offer the traditional menu (cod, steak, and cheese). It’s an unmissable experience!
