The Tolosa Ekinbide Etxea and Musikene have organized the Maiatszoon Doinuak cycle for the fifth time. The performances will be held at Topic on Sundays at 12:00, and tickets cost 5 euros. They can be purchased on the Topic.eus website.

This year the cycle will consist of five performances, with the final performance taking place in June. All the groups are students of the Master’s Degree in Classical Interpretation at Musikene.

May 3

Arcanum Quartet. Javier Ronco Gomez and Enrique Ruiz Izquierdo (violins), Agata Garcia Serrano (viola) and Luis Enrique Rodrigues Noguera (cello).

May 10

Musikene Low Brass Ensemble . Iñigo Ripodas (trumpet), Marta Garrido (bomber), Malva Gomez (bass trombone) and Nicolas Parrado (tuba). This brass quartet explores the expressive possibilities of an instrumentation that is not common in chamber music.

May 24

BIPaDa . Percussion group formed by Pablo Sanz and Daniel Hernandez. Their activity includes contemporary music and current creation, as well as works from other musical styles and contexts.

Sattva : Javier Jesus Perez Gonzalez (soprano saxophone), Alejandro Javier Galindo Escola (alto saxophone), Manuel Alen Bellas (tenor saxophone) and Andrea Biasotto (baritone saxophone).
